The McDaniel's School served the local community from 1924 to 1949 educating its children. Today, once a year, it opens as a museum educating everyone on the ways of the past. The McDaniel's School now houses a lifetime of collecting by John and Annie Matthews. |

One of the class rooms holds a collection of kitchen items and a second room is setup as a vintage class room. New in 2004 is an "O" scale Train Layout which will be a work in progress over the next several years. The school's auditorium is filled with an eclectic collection ranging from farm tools and equipment, vintage radios, and collectibles. |
